I just replaced a printer cartridge by mistake, I thought it had run out but I inserted the old one back just to test and it’s printing… Did I damage to newly refilled cartridge?
Printer model: Samsung SCX-4×21 Series
And by opening I meant removing the cover of the cartridge. Common sense tells me it should be fine but I haven’t done something like this before so I’m asking here.

put it back in the antistatic bag it came in and it should be fine.
You have a toner cartridge- there are no holes to seal up. It will not dry up, it does however need to be put in the antistatic bag and kept away from humidity.

I did it without any problem. Replenished the ink too.
